Today For Your Permit And To Book Your 2011 Canoe
Trip! We are a Cooperator with the USDA Forest Service under the Superior National Forest. We issue permits into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. To preserve the wilderness, visitors to the BWCAW must follow certain regulations. Click on this link to learn the details: http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/forests/superior/bwcaw. Reservation fee
is $6 and the user fee is $16 per adult/$8 per youth. The user fees cost
the same whether the visitors stay 1 night or 15 nights on one permit.
The user fees will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled in the
system at least 2 days before the entry date. The $6 reservation
fee is nonrefundable.
